This message teaches that reading the Bible well requires more than sincerity, it requires context. Using the example of the 1938 "Panic Broadcast," we're reminded that confusion often comes not from foolishness, but from listening without understanding the larger story. Jesus models true biblical interpretation in Luke 24 by opening His disciples' minds to understand the Scriptures, showing that the Bible must be read rightly to be understood truly. Because every reader is also an interpreter, biblical literacy is not about reading more verses, but learning to read Scripture within its literary, historical, and canonical context, so we can see the unified story that leads to Jesus.
